Academics ETC. is a group of professionals providing academic support to all ages. Conveniently located in Lunada Bay, our services include tutoring support, and SAT Prep with an emphasis in creating solid study habits and learning techniques. Our extensive experience working with children that have learning challenges sets us apart, as we strive to help these students achieve success and the confidence to excel. We offer services which include homework assistance, preparation for exams, term-paper completion, and special assignment facilitation. Our goal is to empower students with their academics utilizing modern study skills and one-on-one teaching to improve the overall interest and health of your child’s academic career.

Susan Williams, Director of Academics ETC, has an extensive background working with all levels of students including scholastic training and development expertise. A Palos Verdes Peninsula native, Susan graduated from Rolling Hills High School. Afterwards, she attended UCLA where she received a Bachelors Degree in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. She worked for over 16 years in the corporate sector becoming a Certified Public Accountant while focusing much of her attention on Human Resources, Training, and Development.  With 5 children at home, she took a break from corporate America and focused on assisting her children achieve academic success. During this time, Susan returned to school and completed an MBA from USC. Continuing to expand her knowledge, she also received a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Her focus now is employing these talents and experience to the eager students of Academics ETC. Susan enjoys working with children of all ages, but specializes in teens. Her true passion is her SAT Prep course where she combines her many years of training with her knowledge and understanding of young adults. She conveys to her students the importance of success in today’s college environment and strives to empower them as tomorrow’s leaders.
